Crude Schizochytrium DHA Algal Oil

A high-DHA fermentation-derived algal oil developed for aquafeed and downstream refining applications.

High-DHA Crude Algal Oil

DHA ≥55% of total fatty acids. Contract specification and batch COA govern each supply.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Crude fermentation-derived DHA oil for aquafeed and refining

Orange DHA algal oil in a glass bottle and shallow dish

With 20 years of international export experience, Winstar Ingredients supplies crude DHA-rich oil derived from Schizochytrium microalgae for aquafeed supply chains and downstream refining. We coordinate supplier qualification, batch documentation, quality review and international shipment for B2B buyers.

The documented commercial specification requires DHA ≥55% of total fatty acids. A separate SGS report for representative batch DM221018 reported 52.6 g/100 g DHA and 0.487 g/100 g EPA using AOAC 996.06. Batch results and commercial specification limits must not be treated as interchangeable.

REPRESENTATIVE BATCH DATA

Quality indicators supported by batch testing

Commercial supply is governed by the agreed TDS and batch COA. The separate SGS fatty-acid report below describes representative batch DM221018 and is not a universal sales specification.

DHA & EPA

Commercial specification: DHA ≥55% of total fatty acids by GB 5009.168. SGS representative batch DM221018: DHA 52.6 g/100 g and EPA 0.487 g/100 g by AOAC 996.06.

Oxidation Indicators

Commercial specification limits: peroxide value ≤2.5 mmol/kg and anisidine value ≤10.0. Confirm batch results on the supplied COA.

Purity Indicators

Commercial specification limits: moisture and volatiles ≤0.5%, insoluble impurities ≤0.5%, and acid value ≤10.0 mg KOH/g.

APPLICATIONS & DOCUMENTATION

Designed for aquafeed and industrial processing

Potential evaluation areas include marine and freshwater aquafeed, shrimp and crustacean feed, broodstock nutrition and downstream refining. Inclusion level and suitability must be determined by the buyer or feed formulator according to species, life stage, total lipid profile, processing conditions and destination-market requirements.
